1. Gifts for all

Area:- Gift option

Observation:- The gifting option is available for all items in the cart, not for individual items.

Why it may affect users:-

My Recommendation:-

Expected Results:- It makes you buyer happy - the gift receiver happy - and hence your business too.

2. Unclear Copy

Area:- Inside gift option

Observation:- The copy for the gifting option is unclear and incomplete.

Why it may affect users:-

My Recommendation:-

Expected Results:- Clarity increase user confidence and freedom, leading to more purchases.

3. Average Order Value

Area:- Below the CTAs

Observation:- The upselling technique to increase AOV is placed below the fold and under the main CTA, represented as plain text that can easily be ignored.

Why it may affect users:-

(This might have placed under “continue shopping” button thinking that users don’t have to look for shop more button when they see this nudge , but what if :- User is in hurry and didn’t notice the copy because it just seems like a normal text and description text)

My Recommendation:-

Expected Results:- Higher chances of users adding more items, increasing the Average Order Value (AOV).

4. Difficult to edit

Area:- Product details

Observation:- There’s no option to edit color and size directly on the cart page.

Expected Results:- Increases user control and higher likelihood of proceeding to checkout.
